Stone of Destiny

Is this it? Von, the young hero said to himself. The promises, hard work and dedication, are they all coming to an end? I can’t get up, I can’t move, I can’t picture my life without her. All I can see is her smile. Is this my fate? I can’t stop; I have to do this for her. I can’t let her suffer the same fate like others. I must defeat this creature and retrieve the stone of destiny. Without the stone of destiny, this world will fall to the hands of evil. I have to do this for her, my friends and family. I have to get up off this grass and use these trees and boulders as a shield.

 The flying creature swoops down with its sharp wings coming straight at me. My only options are to get up and attack it with my dad’s magic bow and arrow. I quickly respond and shot one arrow at its head. It strikes the head of the creature before barely reaching me. I began running to a nearby boulders to hide from the creature before it attacks me again . I know I cannot defeat this foul creature, the guardian of the stone. My magic bow and arrow isn’t doing any real damages on the creature. I swore my father told me to believe in the weapon and give it hope but at the moment, this stupid weapon is useless. I have two arrows left in my quiver; I have to do something with them.

            I have to think of a plan to defeat this monster but what can I do? The hero said to himself while hiding behind a boulder. While thinking, the creature catches his scent and strikes him, slicing his chest open. Bleeding from his wounds, the young hero had to run away from the creature while leaving one of his remaining arrows. The hero began running to the nearest tree. Running out of time, the young hero blood drips on the last arrow in his hand. A shining, powerful glow began to surface from his arrow.

            I guess this must be the magic my father told me about. This might be my only chance to destroy this demon and send it back to hell. I pulled back the bow and arrow as soon as the creature catches my scent for the second time. I used all my strength and heart into the last arrow. The creature swoops down with all its might trying to finish me with its final blow. Its now or never for me, I have to do it to save the world and her. I can’t picture my life without her. This is for you my love.

            The young hero releases the arrow. The arrows strikes the foul creature in the heart causing the creature to burst into flames. The young hero began to walk right next to the creature hoping to take the stone of destiny from the creature stomach. After realizing that it wasn’t there, another monster appears out of the sky blocking the sun with its wings and covering with his shadow. The young hero realizes that this is the creature that has the stone of destiny and must endure another battle to save mother earth.
